Galvanized Steel Wire Ropes

The steel wire of hot-dip galvanized steel wire rope is coated by physical thermal diffusion, first forming an iron zinc compound, and then generating a pure zinc layer on the surface of the galvanized steel wire. The highest zinc content on hot-dip galvanized steel wire rope is only 593g/m2. Hot dip galvanizing is the process of depositing zinc in a molten zinc solution at 450-480 degrees Celsius.
